Directions: From Nanaimo, Fairwinds is a short 15 minute drive north on the Nanaimo - Parksville portion of the Island Highway (Highway 19).
From Victoria, Fairwinds is a two hour drive on the Victoria - Nanaimo portion of the Island Highway, first on Highway 1, then continuing on Highway 19.
From all points south or east (Nanaimo, Victoria), exit Highway 19 at the Nanoose Bay traffic light (Petro-Canada service station) by turning right onto North West Bay Road.
Follow Northwest Bay Road for 1km to Powder Point Rd. turn right and travel 4km to the entrance of Fairwinds Community and Resort, where Powder Point Rd. turns into Fairwinds Drive. Continue 3km to Fairwinds Golf & Country Club and another 1km to Fairwinds Schooner Cove & Marina.
